Nokia, the world’s leading cellphone maker, announced on Thursday that it has started to ship its new model N8 smartphone. Delivery of the N8 had been delayed by a few weeks to customers who had pre-ordered. Analysts have noted that the N8 is Nokia’s first real challenge to Apple’s iPhone, which was launched more than three years ago.
